Cocoon To Celebrate 30th Anniversary With Holiday Shopping Event
The home decor store is celebrating "being a beloved destination for locals and visitors to explore unique, meaningful gifts."
GENEVA, IL — Cocoon in downtown Geneva is turning 30, and owner Sherie McGowan is celebrating by hosting a holiday shopping event Nov. 11.
Over the course of three decades, the home decor store, located at 212 S. Third St., has become a "beloved destination for locals and visitors to explore unique, meaningful gifts."
"From the recent lower-level expansion last year to the beautiful outdoor patio space, Cocoon continues to be a place where people gather, connect, and experience shopping in the most magical way," city officials wrote in a news release

Cocoon's anniversary event will take place from 5-8 p.m., during which time guests can shop the new holiday collection, enjoy light refreshments and spin the iconic wooden wheel for a chance to win a prize.
"Thank you to Sherie and the entire Cocoon team for creating such a welcoming space for our community," officials said. "Sherie's creativity, passion for people and her commitment to supporting local businesses shines through every detail."
