Geneva Man Faces 16 Counts Of Child Pornography Charges
Prosecutors said he possessed and disseminated videos containing material of child sexual abuse between Oct. 5 and Nov. 4.

GENEVA, IL — A Geneva man is facing 16 charges after he was discovered to have disseminated videos of child pornography, Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser said Monday morning.
Kenneth A. Christensen is charged with six counts of disseminating child pornography and 10 counts of possessing child pornography after he possessed and distributed videos containing child sexual abuse materials between Oct. 5 and Nov. 4, State's Attorney Jamie Mosser alleged.
The Batavia Police Department, Geneva Police Department, and Kane County Child Exploitation Unit — an effort between the Kane County Sheriff's Office and state's attorney's office, launched in 2022 — collaborated on the investigation into Christensen.

Christensen appeared in court Nov. 6 and was ordered released under certain conditions as his case is pending, officials said. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 13.
