Kautz Road Construction To Halt Next Week For Winter Season
The road widening project between Geneva and St. Charles is expected to be fully completed in the spring.
GENEVA, IL — Construction on Kautz Road is expected to halt the week of Dec. 9 for the winter season, Geneva officials announced.
Crews are laying a final binder application this week and plan to install temporary pavement markings next week. Two traffic lanes and a full median will be striped, and the temporary pattern will leave some room for plow trucks to stay away from the curb.
The project, which began in June, is taking place between Swenson Avenue in St. Charles and just north of State Street in Geneva.
