Scentcerely Yours Will Expand To Include Production Facility

Increasing orders from local and national customers have helped the business grow "exponentially" since opening four years ago, owners said.

GENEVA, IL — Scentcerely Yours, a fragrance shop located in downtown Geneva, will expand to open a new production facility down the street from its retail storefront.

Having opened in May 2018, the expansion marks the business's four-year anniversary. The production facility will be located at 419 Stevens St., just five blocks from the storefront at 211 W. State St.

At Scentcerely Yours, customers can custom-make candles and personal fragrance products using more than 100 individual scents. To make it unique, up to three scents can be mixed into one during the hands-on experience.

The company also works with businesses nationwide to create scents for their brands. Through the Scent Your Brand program, small businesses and national companies partner with Scentcerely Yours to create signature scents as a way to "keep the brand top-of-mind with customers," according to a Geneva Chamber of Commerce news release.

The program has continued to grow over the years, and owners Rob and Susi Brucato cited this as the reason behind the expansion, according to the release. Local and national customers placing orders have also "grown exponentially over the life of the business."

With the new facility set to open in April, the owners have already hired a production manager who will help implement more efficient processes, allowing the company to continue growing while maintaining quality, officials said.

"None of our growth would have been possible without an amazing team of employees," the owners said in a statement. "We are so blessed to have such dedicated, committed people working with us."

The owners also thanked the community and their customers for their years of patronage.

"Thank you for believing in us!" the statement reads. "Our commitment from the beginning was to create an exceptional customer service experience and high-quality products, while staying involved in our local community...and we will never waver from that commitment. Our journey continues with you, and we could not be more excited and grateful."
