• Glen Ellyn Native To Compete In 2026 Olympic Winter Games (patch.com) — Glen Ellyn residents can cheer on hometown speedskater Ethan Cepuran as he heads to his second Olympic Winter Games after qualifying in the mass start event. The 25-year-old, who first skated at age 2 in Glen Ellyn, already owns a 2022 Olympic bronze and a 2025 World Championship gold with a world record in team pursuit. 
• College of DuPage Awarded $4M to Expand Aviation, Drone Training (avweb.com) — Glen Ellyn’s College of DuPage just landed $4 million in federal funding to grow its aviation and drone training programs, potentially boosting local workforce opportunities. Over the next four years, COD plans to expand degrees, add short-term credentials, upgrade labs and simulators, and hire more industry-experienced staff to meet aviation workforce shortages.
• Elmhurst Man Injures 2 Officers During Stop: Cop (patch.com) — A Glen Ellyn man was among several people recently arrested in nearby Elmhurst, after police say he threw items at another driver’s car following concerns about his driving.
