Masked Man Took $1,500, Phone From Victims At Gunpoint: Glenview PD

Police are searching for the suspect who reportedly took the items from the victims while they were loading their car before Christmas.

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery in which police said two people were robbed at gunpoint by a masked offender who got away with $1,500 and a cell phone while the two victims were putting items in their car two days before Christmas.

The incident took place at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue when the masked suspect approached two people, pulled out a gun, and demanded their belongings, police said. Police said that the man and woman complied and were not injured and said the suspect took the cash and a cell phone and left in a dark-colored vehicle.

The suspect was described as wearing a mask, glasses with white frames, and dark clothing, police said. The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Glenview Police tip line at (847) 901-6055.
