Grayslake Central and North Wrestlers to Compete at Lakes Saturday

The Grayslake Central and Grayslake North wrestling teams will compete in an important meet at Lakes High School on Saturday, Feb. 2. The top three individuals will advance into sectionals at Antioch next weekend, and the team champions will head to the dual-team sectional, the Daily Herald reports.

Grayslake Central and Grayslake North will face off against Antioch, Carmel, Grayslake Central, Grayslake North, Lakes, North Chicago, St. Viator, Vernon Hills and Wauconda.

The state individual tournament will be held Feb. 14-16 in Champaign, while the dual-team state tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23 in Bloomington. 

The Feb. 2 meet starts at 9 a.m.
