Q: Technology and Kids: How young is too young for technology?

In this technology age, how young is too young? Do you feel pressured to give your kids an iPhone or an iPad before they go to kindergarten? Or what about the Internet - do you allow your kids to use it freely, or do you monitor their every move? What about something as basic as a cell phone? What age is appropriate for that - 13?  8? 5??

What if all your kid's friends have access but your child doesn't? How do you help them deal with that?

And once you let them text/chat/email, how do you monitor or limit it? Or do you just say no?
