More Than 200 Frederick Students Select Their Favorite Book
The voting is in for the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Book Award program, and now the school librarian Bob Depke will allow students to cut his hair.
The students of Frederick School have finished voting for their favorite book from this year’s Rebecca Caudill list.
Over 200 Frederick School students voted Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Book Award (RCYRBA) as part of astatewide children’s choice award, which encourages students in grades 4-8 to read for personal satisfaction.
There were 70 students who read more than nine books from the list and are invited to the Rebecca Caudill celebration where Bob Depke, Frederick School’s teacher/librarian, has volunteered to allow students to cut his hair. The celebration will be held on March 22.
