Lockport Extends Valet Agreement For 2026

Two valet stands are located at Mamma Onesta's and Lock & Mule, with hours from 4 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

LOCKPORT, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Lockport City Council extended its complementary valet parking agreement for 2026.

The City first started the pilot program for complimentary valet parking in downtown Lockport in 2020. The program has been continued annually since then.

According to council documents, the agreement remains with Valet Parking Authority, Limited, and the one-year term begins Feb. 1 for a cost not to exceed $100,000.

The City said that the service parked over 256 cars per month on average through November for a total of 2,904 cars; vs. 2,474 cars in all of 2024.

Two valet stands are located at Mamma Onesta's and Lock & Mule, with hours from 4 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. A third valet location may be required in the future, the City said.
