Drowning Victim Identified as Homeless Shorewood Man

The man was identified by a tattoo and a hospital bracelet.

The man found floating face-up in the DuPage River Monday afternoon was identified as a homeless person from Shorewood.

The body of William Klem, 44, was found by a fisherman just west of the Route 59 bridge.

The Shorewood police are investigating the death and are awaiting on the results of toxicological testing.
