Man Tried To Choke Woman On Joliet's East Side: Police

Joliet police officers determined that 25-year-old Travis Mosley also held an active Will County warrant for theft.

JOLIET— The Joliet Police Department recently arrested a 25-year-old man out of Chicago in connection with allegations that he tried to strangle a woman.

According to Joliet police:

Travis Mosley was arrested and taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for the crime of aggravated domestic battery. Mosley was also processed and released on a Notice to Appear for an outstanding Will County arrest warrant.

The arrest report indicates that at 8:48 p.m. Oct. 30, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Grant Avenue for a domestic disturbance. There, the officers learned that during an argument, Mosley choked a woman with both hands, police said.

Mosley was placed into custody without incident. Officers determined that Mosley also held an active Will County warrant for the crime of theft.
