Hofer Elementary School Spelling Bee Champs

The winning word was "tremendous."

From Troy Community Consolidated School District 30-C:

SHOREWOOD, IL — “Tremendous” was the word Troy Hofer Elementary School fourth-grader Nadia Nikho spelled correctly to earn first place in the school’s annual spelling bee, held in early May. Third-grader Arnoldo Diaz took second place by spelling the word, “reasonable,” and third-grader Esha Rahod took third place in the bee.

For the competition, each of Hofer’s third- and fourth-grade classrooms sent four students who had won their individual classroom competitions.
