Homeless Woman Spat in Face of Nurse Trying to Treat Her For Drug Intoxication: Cops
The homeless woman was upset with the nurse, police said.

A homeless woman undergoing treatment for drug intoxication at the Presence St. Joseph Medical Center emergency room spat in a nurse’s face, police said.
Kirsten Welch, 33, was at the emergency room about 7 p.m. Monday when she became “upset with the nurse,” police said.
Welch repeatedly called the nurse a “f---ing bitch” and punctuated her displeasure by spitting in her face, police said.

Welch was charged with aggravated battery. She was taken from the hospital to the Will County jail.
