Wilmington Teen Killed in Tuesday Car Crash

The 14-year-old was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

A Wilmington teen was killed in a car crash Tuesday.

Cory Tebbens, 14, was pronounced dead shortly before 7 p.m. in the emergency room of Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Tebbens was a passenger in an automobile involved in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Stevens Lane and Widows Road, according to Will County Coroner Patrick O’Neil’s office.
