Report: Former White Sox Ace Mark Buehrle Sells Lemont Home

Former Chicago White Sox pitching ace Mark Buehrle has sold his 4,000-square-foot Lemont home, the Chicago Tribune reports.

According to the Tribune, the brick and stone house—located in Ruffled Feathers Estates—sold for $550,000. Buehrle paid $770,000 for the seven-room home when it was built in February 2005.

The house features 3-1/2 baths, a fireplace, a double staircase and a full, partially finished basement with 9-foot ceilings and a 3.5-car garage on a half-acre lot, the Tribune reports.

Buehrle, 33, left the White Sox in December after signing a $58 million deal with the Miami Marlins.
