'Not Just Meals, But Experiences:' The Fat Guy Sandwich Shop Now Open In Lisle

LISLE, IL — The Fat Guy Sandwich Shop is now open in Lisle, serving up paninis, subs and salads that aim to be "not just meals, but experiences," according to the shop's website.

The menu at The Fat Guy Sandwich Shop centers around "bold flavors." The shop's sub sandwiches and paninis are made with Turano bread.

Signature items include a roast beef panini topped with fresh tomatoes and mixed greens, horseradish aioli and Swiss cheese. The shop's signature Baby Joe sub piles prosciutto, provolone and capicola with tomato, lettuce and roasted red pepper mayonnaise.

Breadless options include a Caeser Salad and the My Big Fat Greek Salad, made up of fresh greens, cucumbers, crumbled feta cheese, black olives and tomatoes.

The Fat Guy Sandwich Shop opened its doors Sept. 26 at 4714 Main St. and is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
