ICYMI: Credit Card Thief Bought 7-Eleven Gift Cards: Police
Palatine police are asking the public's help in identifying the man they say bought 7-Eleven gift cards with a stolen credit card.
PALATINE, IL — Palatine police are asking the public's help in identifying the man pictured. They allege he used a stolen credit card to buy gift cards from a Palatine 7-Eleven.
On Monday, Dec. 17, around 1:45 p.m., the suspect walked into the 7-Eleven in the 700 block of W. Palatine Road wearing a blue jean jacket, dark-colored shirt and pants, with red and black shoes as well as glasses.
He used the credit card, the owner of which dropped his wallet in another store that day, to buy gift cards, police say.
