Fire Destroys 2nd-Story Palatine Apartment
No one was hurt in the Saturday night blaze.

PALATINE, IL — No one was hurt Saturday night after a fire destroyed a Palatine apartment, according to the Daily Herald. Although no one was injured, two people were displaced by the blaze, the report added.
The fire happened before 7:40 p.m. Saturday, April 15, in the 1100 block of East Randville Drive, the report stated. Smoke and flames burned through a second-floor unit in the three-story building, the report added.
Fire extinguishers were used to douse the fire, and crews were able to extinguish the blaze before 8 p.m., the report stated. The cause of the fire is still under inverstigation.
