Illinois Cannabis Summit 2019: Dates, Costs, More
Here's everything you need to know about the 2019 Illinois Cannabis Summit.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — With the legalization of cannabis on the way in Illinois, business leaders are gathering for the Illinois Cannabis Summit in Schaumburg in October. The Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act takes effect on Jan. 1.
The summit lasts two days — Oct. 15 and 16 — with pre-summit workshops taking place on Oct. 14.
The workshops, titled Cannabis 101 and Cultivation 101, each cost $149. A two-day pass to the summit costs $189. For those who can't make it, a two-day virtual pass also costs $189.

The summit will feature industry professionals to learn, teach and connect over the emerging Illinois cannabis industry, which event organizers say will be "an extremely profitable and expansive market."
The summit will feature over 50 educational sessions, the cannabis summit's Facebook page says. Topics covered will range from licensure, regulations and laws, production, operations, banking, hiring and more.
Attendees will get a chance to network and see the latest in products, services and technological advancements concerning the legal weed industry.
