District 15 and other suburban systems describe mounting cash-flow stress, blame a troubled county technology upgrade, and warn that prolonged delays could further strain school budgets and taxpayers. 
• Girls wrestling: Grant earns hard fought runner-up finish at Sally Berman tourney (dailyherald.com) — A major girls wrestling tournament brought teams from across the region into Palatine, where Palatine High School sophomore Irma Villa thrilled home fans by winning her weight class with three pins. The Sally Berman Tournament featured dominant performances from several state-ranked wrestlers and ended with Homewood-Flossmoor edging Grant for the team title, while other suburban standouts also claimed individual crowns.
