Nominate a Palatine Property for Home Town Pride Award

If you know of a property in Palatine that has exceptional landscaping or notable curb appeal, nominate it for the 2013 Home Town Pride Award.

The property can be yours, a neighbors or even a business' that has an appearance that is an asset to the community's appearance.

Categories on the nomination form include Single-Family, Multi-Family, Subdivision Entrance/Cul-de-Sac Island, Business and 'Doors of Palatine' which includes decorative front entrances of residential buildings with painting, statuaries, pots and potted plants or other aesthetic enhancements. 

Judges with the Village of Palatine will be considering only the front of properties visible from the street. 

A 4x6 photo needs to be submitted, and the due date for entries is Friday, July 19. The winner will be drawn on Monday, July 22, and will receive a certificate presented at a village council meeting.
