Palatine Police Blotter: DUI's and Stolen Rear Tire

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Various power tools were removed from a 2003 Chevrolet truck in the 200 block of N. Linden Ave. sometime between July 19 at 11 p.m. and July 20 at 10:30 a.m. Police say the window was pried open to gain access to the tools, and their value was not known. 

Theft

A full-size spare tire was stolen from the rear of a 2011 Chevrolet truck in the 1000 block of N. Sterling Ave. sometime between July 15 at 10 a.m. and July 17 at 9:45 a.m.

Driving Under the Influence

Richard C. Boltz, 62, of the 400 block of E. Circle Hill Dr., Arlington Heights was arrested for DUI on July 19 at 12:21 p.m. at southbound Rt. 14 and Palatine Road. Boltz was also charged with disobeying a traffic control signal and having a blood alcohol content of more than .08. 

Lawrence W. Judd, 56, of the 100 block of Crooked Tr., Barrington, was arrested for DUI on July 20 at 12:12 a.m. on westbound Northwest Hwy. from Sterling Ave. Judd also was charged with making an improper turn and speeding. 

Marcin P. Pyzowski, 37, of the 500 block of E. Cottonwood Ln., Schaumburg, was arrested for DUI on July 20 at 12:13 a.m. in the 600 block of southbound Roselle Rd. Pyzowski also was charged with improper lane usage and having a blood alcohol content of more than .08.
