Palatine Police Search For Falcon Park Sexual Assault Suspect

According to police, a young woman reported being attacked while running on the park's outdoor track.

PALATINE, IL — Palatine Police officers are searching for a suspect in a sexual assault reported Saturday in the 2100 block of N. Hicks Road, according to a release from the Palatine Police Department. According to police, officers responded to the report at Falcon Park at 9:20 p.m., where they found a 19-year-old female victim from Palatine who told police she'd been sexually assaulted by a male suspect while running at the facility's outdoor track. The young woman didn't know the offender and was able to fight him off, according to the release.

According to the release, Palatine Police investigators were able to obtain photos of the reported suspect from nearby surveillance cameras.

The suspect — seen in the above photos — is described as a Hispanic male, between 35 and 40 years of age, 5'0' to 5'2' tall, and 140 pounds.

Police said paramedics from the Palatine Fire Department took the victim to Northwest Community Hospital where she was treated and released with non- life threatening injuries.
