Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft and Traffic Arrests

March 8

Shivam S. Patel, Shivam, 23, of the 3000 block of Valley Stream Drive in Wheeling was arrested at 1:39 a.m. on northbound Plum Grove Road at Wilson Street on charges of DUI and driving with one headlight out, police reported.

March 7

Victor Nava-Gonzalez, 31 of the 1800 block of Goodwin Drive was arrested in the 1500 block of N. Rand Road on a charge of retail theft, police reported. The theft was about $19.

Victoria Vockeroth, 21of the 4000 block of Shakespeare Avenue in Chicago was arrested at 3:13 a.m. on eastbound Illinois Avenue at Plum Grove Road on charges of DUI, improper lane use and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, police reported.

March 6

Between 9 p.m., March 5 and 8 a.m., March 6, about $300 was taken from a business in the 700 block of Euclid Avenue, police said. An unknown object was used to shatter the front glass door and gain entry to the business. The burglary is under investigation.

Kirstie T. Martini, 21, of the 800 block of Panorama Drive was arrested in the 1500 block of Rand Road on charges of retail theft, police reported. The theft was about $64.
