Retired, 'Beloved' Palatine Police Department K9 Dies

PALATINE, IL — The Palatine Police Department is honoring their retired K9 Elvis, who they said passed away Monday. According to police, the beloved K9 was the department's second, and graced them with his "hard work and playful nature from 2009 to 2017," before enjoying his retirement with with family and handler.

Police said Elvis is honored in their lobby display case, as that's where his photo and badge sit.
