Man Dead After Shooting Off Silver Lane Near Palatine: Update
Cook County sheriffs are investigating the shooting death of a 20-year-old man off Silver Lane near Palatine.
PALATINE, IL — A 20-year-old man died after he was shot in an unincorporated section of Palatine Friday afternoon, the Cook County Sheriff's office said. The shooting happened at about 4:18 p.m on the 1500 block of Norway. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
No further details have been released.
A police investigation is underway.
