The campus recently celebrated 10 years in Romeoville.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Rasmussen College celebrated its 10 years in Romeoville with a plaque dedication and an unveiling of new upgrades to its campus. Local college and elected officials marked the occasion in early October.
Rasmussen was founded in 1900 in Minnesota but now has locations across the country, including five in Illinois. The college recently completed a $250,000 renovation, including expanding its nursing simulation lab and doubling the size of its surgical tech lab, said Diane Nowaczyk, Romeoville campus director for Rasmussen.
Mayor John Noak said, from as early as its planning and approval-process days, Rasmussen has been a great neighbor. Not just through education, but through local employment and community programming, he said.
