Where To See Santa In Romeoville This Christmas Season
The holiday season is upon us; find out where to see Santa in Romeoville.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Now that Thanksgiving is over, many families have turned thoughts to the Christmas season and annual traditions. Visits and pictures with Santa are a treasured memory for many Romeoville families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.
In Romeoville, families have several chances:
- Holiday parade, 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 throughout Romeoville. Watch Santa and a parade of decorated vehicles as they make their way through town. You will be able to track Santa with the Village's new Santa tracker; coming soon.
- Holiday Lights Festival, 5 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2. There will be photos with Santa, ice sculpting, holiday train, tractor rides, face painting, food trucks, holiday market and more.
- Breakfast with Santa, presented by the Romeoville Firefighters Local Union 4237. 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 3 at Fire Station 3, 698 N. Birch Lane. It is $15 for adults and $5 for kids. RSVP to local4237events@gmail.com.
- Holiday Open House with Santa and Mrs. Claus, 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 7 at White Oak Library, 201 W. Normantown Road. Crafts, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa and cookies.
Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Chicago, Santa will be at the downtown Chicago Macy's, on the 5th floor at 111 N. State Street starting in November and continuing through the holidays. Reservations are required, and more details are available here.
JC Penney stores, including stores in Orland Park, Lombard, Mokena and Joliet are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
