2 Women Slain, 1 Critically Injured In South Shore Triple Shooting

The three women were found in an alley. Two were shot in the head and pronounced at the scene. The third woman is in critical condition.

CHICAGO — Three women were found shot early Tuesday morning in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood.

The women were found unresponsive in an alley in the 7700 block of South Oglesby around 4:50 a.m. Chicago police said two of the women were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were shot in the head. The women have not been identified and are believed to be in their twenties.

The third woman, also believed to be in her twenties, suffered gunshot wounds to the face and chest. She was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.

No one is in custody at this time. CPD Area Two detectives are investigating.
