Food Delivery Drivers Alerted To String Of Robberies In McKinley Park
One to two robbers approach the food delivery driver brandishing a handgun or rifle and demand the driver's phone, cash and food, CPD said.

CHICAGO — Chicago police alerting residents about a string of food delivery driver armed robberies in the McKinley Park neighborhood in the 9th (Deering) District.
When the delivery drivers arrived at addresses to deliver food, police said they were confronted by one or two robbers brandishing rifles or handguns. The robbers demand the delivery driver’s cash, cell phone and in some incidents, the food, according to the business alert.
Chicago police said one or two persons have been reported in each robbery:

- Hispanic female in her twenties, and a Hispanic male, also in his twenties, wearing a white shirt and black pants.
- Unknown suspect wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, with a second unknown person.
- Male, age 23 to 26, with black straight hair in an “Edgar haircut” style, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and baggy pants with a cross tattoo on his forearm, and a “Hispanic accent.”
- A Hispanic male, 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-9-inches tall, with a face tattoo and wearing a black mask; and a second Hispanic male over six feet tall, with brown eyes, black hair and dark complexion.
The purported robbers have been known to use a red Ford SUV, Gray Minivan and or Gold Chevrolet Tahoe.
