South Side Fugitive On The Lam After Removing Electronic Monitoring Device: Sheriff
Jermail Conley, 41, was on electronic monitoring for a pending burglary charged when he removed the GPS tracking device, CCSO said.

CHICAGO — An active search is underway for a fugitive who is on the run after he damaged and removed his electronic monitoring device, Cook County Sheriff’s Police said.
Jermail Conley, 41, was placed on electronic monitoring Oct. 3 after he was charged with burglary. Conley is in violation of his pretrial conditions after sheriff’s police said he removed his GPS tracking device. He is currently at large.
His last known address is the 9100 block of South Harvard Avenue. Conley was last located in the 9300 block of South Wallace Street. Both addresses are in the Auburn-Gresham area on the Southest Side.

Anyone with information about Conley’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact Cook County Sheriff’s Police at 708-865-4700 or 911.
“Do not attempt to engage,” sheriff’s police said. “Your safety is our priority.”
