Adam Salerno, Founder Of Salerno's On The Fox, Dies

Adam Salerno first opened the popular St. Charles restaurant in 1975.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The founder of Salerno's on the Fox has died.

Adam Salerno died on Feb. 9. His popular restaurant first opened in 1975.

"Adam loved Saint Charles but most of all he loved Salerno’s on the Fox," according to a post on the Salerno's on the Fox Facebook page.

A visitation for Adam Salerno will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. in Roselle. His funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1S314 Summit Avenue in Oak Brook Terrace.

Prayers and a final viewing will begin at 8 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church.

Those attending the funeral and visitation should wear masks and practice social distancing.
