Car Burglaries Reported In Charlemagne, Majestic Oaks Neighborhoods
The St. Charles Police Department is investigating the car burglaries.
ST. CHARLES, IL — Police in St. Charles are reminding residents to lock their car doors and remove valuables from their vehicles after a string of car burglaries were reported in recent weeks in the city.
On Feb. 7, police said several burglaries were reported in the Charlemagne and Majestic Oaks neighborhoods in recent days. The burglaries are under investigation, and anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to call the police department at 630-377-4435.

- Ensure that vehicles are locked and any valuables are removed from the vehicle when parking outside
- Lock doors and windows when your residence is vacant and ensure that garage doors are closed overnight
- Utilize exterior lighting around your residence to include static lighting, motion sensor, and timing features
- Utilize visible home security systems if feasible
- Notify the Police Department of anything suspicious
