ST. CHARLES, IL — Plans are moving forward to bring a Chick-fil-A to St. Charles.

This past week, the St. Charles City Council approved an ordinance allowing a special use permit for a drive-through at the restaurant at 3795 E. Main Street. There was no discussion by council members regarding the proposed project and councilors voted 9-0 in favor of it.

The site is the former location of a Chili's, which will be demolished as part of the project, according to city documents.
