ST. CHARLES, IL — Construction is expected to get underway for a new Chick-fil-A in St. Charles in early 2024.
The city's first Chick-fil-A will be built at 3795 E. Main Street, company officials told Patch. Construction will begin in early 2024, with plans to open the drive-thru restaurant in the fall.
The site is the former location of a Chili's, which will be demolished as part of the project, according to city documents. The St. Charles Chick-fil-A will include a dining area and indoor play area, according to city documents.

The city council voted in favor of an ordinance allowing a special use permit for a drive thru at the restaurant during an October meeting. The city's plan commission and planning and development committee voted in favor of the project during its September meeting.
The Chick-fil-A is expected to bring 80 to 120 new jobs to the area, company officials said.
