ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Unit District 303 school board has picked a new school board president.

During its annual election of officers on Monday, board members selected Heidi Fairgrieve, who has been serving as the board's vice president for the past year, to replace current school board president Jillian Barker, the Kane County Chronicle is reporting. Fairgrieve has been on the District 303 school board since 2017.
