Film Shot In St. Charles To Debut On Netflix Friday

ST. CHARLES, IL — David Fincher's "The Killer," which was partially filmed in St. Charles, will premiere on Netflix on Friday.

Fincher began filming on the movie in November 2021 in Paris. The movie also was filmed in New Orleans and the Dominican Republic while most of the St. Charles portion of the movie took place in Hotel Baker, according to Shaw Local News Network.

"The Killer" is from a screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker, which is based on a French graphic novel series. The film stars Michael Fassbender alongside Arlis Howard, Charles Parnell, Kerry O'Malley, Sala Baker, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton.
