Final Unwind Wednesday Of Summer Is Next Week In St. Charles

The St. Charles Business Alliance is hosting the festivities, which will be held August 13 on the 1st Street Plaza.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The final Unwind Wednesday of the summer will be held next week in St. Charles.

The St. Charles Business Alliance will host the festivities, which will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on August 13 on the 1st Street Plaza, according to a news release from the St. Charles Business Alliance.

There will be music and beverages available for purchase from the following businesses:

  • Alter Brewing + Kitchen
  • Gia Mia
  • La Mesa Modern Mexican
  • La Za’Za’ Trattoria
  • McNally’s Irish Pub & Kitchen

Those wishing to purchase a drink can stop by one of the businesses and present valid identification to receive a wristband. Once a wristband is received, individuals will then be able to purchase a beverage that they can enjoy on the 1st Street Plaza while listening to Dennis O’Brien on Aug 13, according to the news release.

Jenna Sawicki, the executive director for the St. Charles Business Alliance, is looking forward to continuing this community event.

“The first Unwind Wednesday was a great success,” Sawicki said. “It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the live music, the atmosphere, and supporting our local businesses. We’re looking forward to seeing this event continue to grow with these additional dates.”

Organizers said that all drinks and attendees must stay within the designated event boundaries on the 1st Street Plaza, and any outside alcohol will not allowed.
