Former Alley 64 Employee Arrested After He Shows Up At Business With Gun: Police
A short time after he was asked to leave, police received a report of shots being fired, according to authorities.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A 27-year-old South Elgin man is in custody after he showed up at his former place of employment with a gun on Tuesday night, according to authorities.
Cameron Kerr was asked by former co-workers to leave Alley 64 after he came into the business at 212 West Main Street in St. Charles at about 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday and displayed a gun to staff members, according to a news release from the St. Charles Police Department.
Shortly after he left the bar, police received a report of shots being fired, authorities said.

Police responded and found Kerr nearby, and witnesses identified him as the person who fired the shots, according to a news release.
Kerr was arrested and has been charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, reckless discharge of a firearm, reckless conduct and disorderly conduct.

He was taken to the Kane County Jail where he is being held on an active arrest warrant out of McHenry County on an unrelated weapons charge and as he waits a hearing in connection with the Alley 64 incident, police said.
