Full-Day Kindergarten Costs To Decrease In 2023-24 School Year
The cost to attend kindergarten at D303 school will drop from $1,800 per year to $1,620 per year.
ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles District 303 school board voted in favor of decreasing fees for all-day kindergarten during a meeting last week.
The cost for all-day kindergarten will drop from $1,800 per year — or $200 per month for nine months — to $1,620 per year — or $180 per month — following the Jan. 13 vote at the D303 school board meeting.
Parents will also have the choice to pay an early bird discount of $1,458 for all-day kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year if paid in full by July 28.

The District 303 school board voted 6-0 in favor of the proposed 2023-24 school fees — most of which will remain the same as this year. School officials said increases were approved "only where necessary, based on vendor cost increases or increases to internal costs of running certain programs," according to D303 documents.

- The cost for band, choir and/04 orchestra will change from $40 to $50 to participate in one, $75 to participate in two and $100 to participate in all three.
- Graduation fees increased from $30 to $50.
- Fees increased from $75 to $100 for use of instruments at school only. The cost for using instruments at school and home will stay at $150.
