Hewell Out As District 303 Gets New President, Board Members
According to unofficial election results, Rebecca "Becky" McCabe finished in the top spot among the five-person ballot.
ST. CHARLES, IL — It's a season of change in St. Charles as voters decided not to re-elect Unit District 303 board President Kathleen Hewell, choosing Rebecca "Becky" McCabe to sit in the top spot. according to unofficial election results. The Daily Herald reported that while three new board members were elected, board Vice President, incumbent Nick Manheim will serve another two years.
Three, 4-year seats, and one, 2-year term were up for election for District 303.
According to Kane County and DuPage County unofficial election results, McCabe finished first among the five-person ballot. Jillian Barker came in second and Michael Bryant finished third, the unofficial results reported. Garrett Seaman finished fourth, with Hewell finishing last and not getting a fifth term.

According to the Daily Herald, McCabe is a former assistant superintendent with District 303, and said her administrative experience would give her a unique perspective as a board member.
