Kane Co. Forest Preserve Hosts Animal Signs Scavenger Hunt

KANE COUNTY, IL — The Kane County Forest Preserve District t will host an "Animal Signs Scavenger Hunt" at a forest preserve in January.

The event will run from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, at Burnidge Forest Preserve at 14N035 Coombs Road in Elgin.

This unique program offers families a chance look for clues that animals leave behind as they explore the woods with a Forest Preserve District naturalist, according to a news release. Families will get to try their hand at finding the clues on their own during a family scavenger hunt.
