Lineup Of Six Upcoming Summer Concerts In St. Charles

Six more concerts have been added for Thursday nights, July 11 through Aug. 15 in St. Charles' Lincoln Park.

ST. CHARLES, IL — St. Charles Park District’s Concerts in the Park series is in full swing in St. Charles' historic downtown, the park district said, in a release. Each concert begins at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the Lincoln Park Gazebo, located along Main Street between 4th and 5th Streets, according to the park district.

Upcoming concerts include:

  • July 11: Strung Out
  • July 18: Pirates Over 40
  • July 25: Mike Zabrin's Funktastic
  • Aug. 1: Howard & the White Boys
  • Aug. 8: 7th Heaven
  • Aug. 15: Final Say

Have a picnic in the park with family and friends, and grab some pre-concert food, including picnic-style offerings at reasonable rates from downtown St. Charles restaurants and local vendors including Kimmer’s Ice Cream, Bernie’s Bully Dogs, Gia Mia Pizza and Snack Zone. Alcohol is not permitted at Lincoln Park, the park district said. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and get to the park early for better seating, the park district said, adding that Lincoln Park is a smoke free area," the park district said in a release.

That night's concert will be cancelled if there is rain, and musicians are subject to change without notice, according to the release.
