Maple Sugaring Days Held This Weekend In St. Charles
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will host the event from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve.

KANE COUNTY, IL — Maple Sugaring Days will take place this weekend in St. Charles.
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will host the event from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean Street, St. Charles.
The event will include maple tapping, syrup making and more. Those stopping out can learn the art of tapping maple trees, watch sap boil into syrup over an open flame and taste fresh, local syrup, according to a news release.

Also available at the festival will be a limited-edition of the maple replay imperial stout from Riverlands Brewing as well as maple sundaes, hot chocolate and maple-glazed donuts. Admission to Sugaring Days is free.
