New Mexican Restaurant Opens in Geneva

Tacatz Tacos has opened at 1479 E. State Street.

Mexican restaurant Tacatz Tacos is now open on Geneva’s east side. The new location replaced Favio’s Pizza at 1479 E. State St.

Owner Guillermo Macias, a resident of Aurora, serves personal recipes from his hometown.

“The name comes from my town in Mexico – Tacatzcuaro in Michoacan,” Macias told the Kane County Chronicle.

The menu includes tortas, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, fresh fruit and much more.
