PHOTOS: Loverboy “Working for the Weekend” at the Arcada Theatre

Loverboy played the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, IL on Wednesday, December 3rd.

Loverboy made Wednesday feel like the weekend when they came to the historic Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, IL on December 3rd.

Last week’s show was originally supposed to take place on a Friday night back in September, until it was rescheduled to this past Wednesday due to unforeseen circumstances.

It was worth the wait for attendees that held onto their tickets from the previously-scheduled date. Loverboy powered through a 12-song set, featuring their radio anthems like “Turn Me Loose”, “Working for the Weekend” and “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”, while also slowing things down with love ballads like “This Could Be the Night”.

While Loverboy hasn’t made their full 2026 calendar public just yet, they do have one Chicagoland show on their schedule as of right now.

The group will play Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL with Lynyrd Skynyrd on August 15, 2026.
