St. Charles Brewers Collaborate To Create Seasonal Beer
This year the STC Six created a California Common, which is a hybrid-style beer or "steam beer."

ST. CHARLES, IL — For a third year in a year, all six breweries in St. Charles will be working together to come up with its annual "collaborative beer."
The STC Six, which is made up of 93 Octane Brewery, Alter Brewing + Kitchen, Broken Brit Fermentation Emporium, D&G Brewing, Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling and Riverlands Brewing, will launch it new beer starting at 5 p.m. on June 12 at Alter Brewing + Kitchen, 12 S. 1st St., St. Charles, according to a news release from the St. Charles Business Alliance.

“One of the only truly American indigenous styles of beer as it was created in San Francisco. Rustic woody and herbal Northern Brewer hops play well with the buscuity and caramel malt flavors,"said Eric Bramwell, who is the head brewer and co-founder of Riverlands Brewing
One dollar from every sale of the STC Six Collaborative Beer and the limited-edition glassware will go towards STC L.E.A.R.N., a local non-profit that partners with D303 students and families to access equal learning and academic opportunities. STC L.E.A.R.N. helps ensure that every student within the St. Charles school district has an equalized opportunity for academic achievement, according to the news release.
