St. Charles Week Ahead Weather: We Can Go Out Again!
The brutal, bitter cold is over, finally, though we can expect some wintry weather this week.

ST. CHARLES, IL — We can expect a break from the brutal cold this week, as high temperatures will reach the 40's this week as opposed to the biting temperatures we've seen over the past week.
A cloudy 35-degree Monday with 20 mph wind gusts should give way to a mostly sunny Tuesday with calm winds and a high temperature of 34 with mostly calm winds. Wednesday may bring drizzle in the morning, but the day will be mostly cloudy and a steady wind, gusts as high as 20 mph.
Thursday brings a 70 percent chance of rain, but it will be comfortable with a high near 49 degrees. The temperature will drop, potentially dumping some snow in the area. Friday will cool down a bit, with a high temperature of 29 and a slight chance of snow.
