ST. CHARLES, IL — Illinois State Senator Donald DeWitte will open a second office in St. Charles next month in an effort to better serve his constituents, the former mayor and alderman announced last week.

The Republican who represents the 33rd District, will open the St. Charles office on July 11 and will be on-site at the new office three days a week, his office announced. The new location will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and DeWitte will be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The senator’s original office, which is located in West Dundee, will remain open.

“The 33rd Senate District is geographically quite large, and this second district office in St. Charles will better serve constituents who live in the southernmost parts of the district,” DeWitte said in a news release.

DeWitte said that the new office will be a shared space for himself and State Representative Dan Ugaste, so constituents will have the benefit of receiving assistance from either or both offices.

The two lawmakers will host an open house from 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 2. The new office will be located at 406 Surrey Woods Drive.

“I have two highly trained constituent services experts on staff, so residents of the 33rd District can go to the office that is most convenient for them and receive the same level of assistance,” DeWitte said. “Both of these staff members are able to help people cut through the red tape when they are having an issue with a state agency or department.”

He added: “I am excited to open this second office, so my staff and I can improve accessibility for constituents."
